Matt Flores began DJing and MCing in the late eighties. He has always had a large affinity for English club music, as well as Hip Hop and Reggae. In 1993, when Matt first got to hear Breakbeat and Jungle, he decided it was time to produce his own tracks. He hooked up with J. Buzz and Herb LF as part of the Gush Collective and quickly took German by storm, notably for productions with house legend Tyree Cooper.

Matt had his first full solo album release in 2003 with “Metaword” – a hybrid mix of Breakbeat, Disco, and House. This has been followed with releases on Compost Black, Farside, Shades of House and other well-known Deep House labels. Many international remixes have also followed and Matt has toured extensively throughout Europe, from the Canary Islands to deepest Russia.

Matt Flores has established himself as a firm part of the European Deep House scene, played by DJs such as Laurent Garnier, Jimpster, Manuel Tur, D Play & Ame.”
